Swishmax

Does anyone here ever used Swishmax?
I use it instead of Flash and I love it.

I've never heard of Swishmax. According to its website it is a Flash authoring tool though. So this is just a better IDE/Tool than Flash?

In the beginning its much easier to learn, to curve to make something in Swishmax isn't that difficult. And you have also the possibilities to get some coding in it. Once you have worked with Swishmax you will love it. At least I do :-)

Its good for animating text, but anything more complex it pales in comparison to Flash

I never said you couldnt do this, but when compared to Flash, SwishMax is not even close to being as powerful a tool as Flash is. The actionscript support, although it is there, is limited to what it supports.

SwishMax is a handy program, but not a replacement for Flash, not by a long way

Flash is another one :-)
