Helloooo?

In Firefox, both the background and the purple gradient bit are the same colour at the edges, so they blend in. They are both set to #000066 (dark blue).

In IE - the page is #000066, but the gradient image is #00005B (slightly darker blue), so they don't blend. Any ideas why?

I see them now. And look at the IE one - see the purple gradient at the top - well, around it, the dark blue doesn't blend in with the other blue. See?

Yeah OK now i see it but lol i have no idea why it's doing that. Is that a CSS effect or an image? if it's an image that makes no sense but maybe CSS error?

Nu-uh. It's an image, and the background colour of the page is set using CSS to #000066. But alas, the image seems to darken itself in IE.
