Help With Flash PLEASE!

[Immaculate Design]

Im making a website, and as a splash page i just want a simple flash design. nothing to out of this world that is gonna make 56k people kill themselves, just a simple animation. i want to have a word, such as "Graphics" (not the actual word im gonna use) and i want it to zoom in a little bit onto the word (so that the word gets bigger) and then i want it to make a Flash (such as an explosion, but just go from a dark color to a really light color, no actual explosion lol)...then i want it to fade back from the really bright color to the original color and size.

i would like to make this in Macromedia Flash 8 (which i just got today)...if any1 could help me (maybe make me a tutorial or find me a tutorial or make it for me lol) that would be great.

I used to use Flash a lot, but I haven't used it in awhile and my skills, what little skill I had, is almost gone. I didn't know w3schools taught Flash... that's interesting.
