Question Simple or Extreme?

Do you go for simple proxy designs or do you go for the extreme templates?

I like simple, seems more professional and neat... although I must admit that I used some 'a-little-extreme' templates.

It depends. A simple design would be good for a purely information website, but I think extreme is better for certain types of e-commerce (although simple would work well for some as well).
