Backlinks really will help. I just figured this out (after someone told me about it) . If you notice in the Google toolbar for Page Rankings the highest rated sites have lots of backward links. It can be very time consuming to build back links and there are different ways to do it. For example you could produce your own software and submit it to the Software Databases and when they list your new software creation it creates quality backlinks for you. Yea, like hundreds of backlinks. I know of a great tutorial on how to go about this, the software creation is so simple it will blow your mind. The tutorial is going to set you back a few bucks but the methods that you will be taught can get your very own software creation for free. I am now an author of my own software and I offer it in my Free Downloads section of my website. I'm a newbie here so I can't drop links so PM me or e-mail me and I drop the link on you.

Creating and distributing freeware or shareware to the software directories is a great way to get the highest quality links possible to your site and that’s inbound links with anchor text YOU choose from sites that generally have a PR of 3 or better.

Thats right jmccoyfl. I am creating my second piece of software for distribution tonight. It takes about 30 minutes or so and my customers like the free downloads and It's going to give me quality backlinks. Win Win!! You are going to have to put some text into the site and put alt="text here" in you
image tags. Replace the "text here" with description containing keywords.

Also have him visted a few forums that he has interest in and put a link in his signiture.
The signiture needs to be varied alot.

Your problem is with flash. This over bloated slow processing language was never intended for entire websites and search engines don't know how to handle them. Flash needs to build in commands that will tell a search engine what it needs to know. Personally while I love the look of a flash website I hate everything else, including the hesitation I get when switching pages. I did not get dsl to go backwards in performace.
