Color Codes
Great color charts for site design at: Hex Hub HTML Color Codes: Hexadecimal codes for named colors used in HTML page features
I like this one because it shows all the colors in an image and then has the codes next to it in a variety of formats

Free Stock Images
I like stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site - once there sign up for free account and then there are thousands of HIGH RES images you can use without paying, etc. Good site.

Absolute Background Textures Archive: 5815 Free Tiling Background Textures - this is a GREAT site, but there are a few pop ups when you get there. Get past them and the resource is VAST!

Newsfeeds and Headlines for your site:
Newsfeed Maker - Free newsfeeds for your website! - this is a good site, but you have to know how to add the free code they give you to your site. once you add it you can also adjust it (Make links open in new windows, etc)

COFFEE CUP
CoffeeCup - HTML Editor, Flash & Web Design Software - just a great site. Their programs cost money, BUT THEY ARE PRETTY MUCH the best out there. I love this company!
