They're good (for Microsoft's standards). I've just checked Notepad2 again, it has syntax highlighting, but not much else. There's no direct connection to FTP locations or anything - which VWD can do. What about Notepad++?

I am definately gonna try VWD once school semester starts. My school has license for that program for us to use for free. I don't like downloading programs for another kind of "free"

Notepad++ is under GNU. So reliable. But i find it good only for quick editing.
