Not necessarily. It's possible to code by hand in DreamWeaver too, only using syntax highlighting. That was what I did, when I used it, long time ago.Originally Posted by NeedHelp
I hand-code in Notepad, and use MS Paint and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 for my graphics.
I design all my layouts in Photoshop. Then I slice them and code either by using Dreamweaver for some issues or Crimson Editor for the core coding. I upload my sites using Total Commander, even if there are specialized programs for it. The FTP option in TC is enough for me to do my job. And all my browsing is done on Firefox; I use IE to test some pages and get angry because of the differences in displaying the design![]()
Well It depends to me, I generally use Notepad, or use a CMS.
Design in photoshop and code with Visual Express.
I haven't heard of Paint.NET, but I went to paint.net and they seem to sell real paint.
I use Macromedia Dreamweaver (the text version) for coding and Adobe Photoshop for the design part.![]()
Dreamweaver mostly for web page layout, content etc, notepad or notepad2 if I want to wrok in raw html using a fast program, macromedia flash, photoshop, freehand, fireworks (but very little in this), and smartFTP for uploading.
