    Help running cgi files in public_html

    sorry i know this probably is not the place but i did not know where else to post it i just need a little help i got a virtual server on godaddy and now my cgi files wont run in public_html they will only run in cgi-bin can someone please help me

    Moved to Website Design. What language are these CGI-Scripts written in? This will help me decide the best place to put your thread.

    Your host probably has it setup where CGI files only work in the cgi-bin. This is common and usually how it should work. You can request any directory to execute CGI files but you'll need your host to change configuration. Send their support an email or ticket.
