This made me rofl I think they standardise (or help standardise) web programming languages like XHTML and CSS, as well as stuff like XML. Their code validators are invaluable tools to any web developer.

Learning HTML isnt hard you just gotta know where to look. This site below has HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL tutorials and walk throughs. You can learn everything here.

If you do not have hosting you can get free PHP hosting you can just do some tests on.

If your just testing HTML just save your files in .html on your computer and open them up with your default browser and you should be great!

I don't know what operating system you are running, nor the database you are using. If you could post that, it would assist the wonderful people here to help you better (I'm only familiar with lunux for accessing databases, if you're running a Windows system I cannot help you).

Learn html,css then if you wanted to make it interactive, php or javascript (I highly reccommend php) Then if you learn php you are going to want to learn sql.

You can buy this as an ebook if you follow the link. Of course, you could obtain it from a more morally questionable source if you didn't fancy paying for it...

PHP, Ruby will help you make it more user friendly.

i don't think that counts for this context


Try learning html and css, then work on php/ruby; Server side programing is required for this sort of thing.
Or you could be lazy and use zencart.
