what is the different between combo box, text box, label?

Combo is a drop down list of items, textbox is an empty space to insert your text and a label is a place to display text (usually the programmer uses it.. the user will not be able to edit the text in it)

Dear All,

Currently i am working with Visual basic 2005.

Here i have a taken combobox with dropdown list.

What i need here is, while running the exe if i type 'P' combobox has to display 'P'
related strings.

Please help me out. Thanks a lot for your great help.
