I understand what you are asking, and I may have a solution. Get an install creator. This is a good one Then when you select where you want it to install, you make the default location the start folder. They can change it, but you can put notes into it and tell them not to change it. Your second option, I know it is possible, but I do not know how to do it, you can put code to add the key to the registry
