Doesn't matter the platform or the age, just as long as it's a legitimately owned video game currently in your collection, and feel free to count expansion content as an individual product.
A recent count reveals my own library of games to contain 438 games.
Not many, 11-50 probably and most are old.

30+ for NES, 30+ for PSX, 50+ for MS-DOS, and maybe 100 for Windows?
Wow, you still have your NES? I loved it when I had one!

Sometimes I even play itI've got M.U.L.E. on the NES, and can sometimes get my wife to play with me.
I own around 8 or 9 games. Most of them are sports games, like Madden 2007 and NCAA Basketball 2007 and such. I am thinking of buying some new games like Gears of War and the like.
I have games for the original Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Windows, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Playstation Portable.
11-50 for me. About 10 Dreamcast games (anyone still have one of those - anyone still play it? I don't play mine anymore) about 10 Gameboy games and about 20 PC games.
Game ownership is changing slightly now with free online games. My website has over 400 flash and java games, but I don't own any of them. I've played the vast majority, but not played them like you would play a "proper game".
Interesting times when you can play hundreds of games through a couple of google searches. Granted most of the flash games around are in nowhere the same league as commercial games, but some are rather good nonetheless.
Many and many of many, I can't count is a number on a hun., but i don't play anyone of them games, just playing Age of Empires II and Counter Strike Source 1.9. =)
