Speaking of future games... Who else is excited about T.E.R.A online (From most of the developers of Lineage 2) and Diablo 3? I personally cannot wait for these games to come out.

No, it will have a monthly fee like World of Warcraft and it shouldn't be in a browser. However, one thing that sets this MMO apart of the rest is the ability to control your attacks in real time with no "auto-target" system as in World of Warcraft. (Also the in-game graphics are stunning. You can see this in any of the videos they have since all of them are live gameplay and not a cinematic.

What is the big rage with MMO games like World of Warcraft and all that? Like it doesn't look fun or interesting yet SO many people play it and get addicted to it, I don't even understand how you play.. ;s

I don't get addicted to games, but I might have an explanation for why other people might. The fact that MMOs offer a social aspect that no other genre can offer, the ability to "become" another being and adopt a new persona. Also, most MMOs if not all have a system of achievements that you can use to compare your progress to other players. (Let that be "Levels", "Titles", "Rank", or what have you.)

I play MMOs for a PvE (Player versus environment) experience that I can share with my close friends. Nothing like killing a boss with 20 of your friends.

Yeah like this guy last year was telling me how he had like 5 level 80 accounts and trying to be all cool about it but he's such a little weirdo, he's like 19 but looks 12. I bet half of them think they're really leet.

I agree you can sit me down in front of a FPS and I'll play for a hour or two but if you intro deuce levels and ranks I can play a game for 6 hours trying to get my person leveled up.

wow 5 level 80 accounts! he must of spent a lot of time playing!

I guess from the perspective of person who's a non-MMO player it's pretty dorky and a wierd but some people might find the games we play lame like Sims lol. I played WoW and it was fun and I could see myself getting into it but I just refused to pay the subscription fee, I mean I just payed $25 for the game and now I have to continue paying just to play ? I guess I'm kinda cheap

I can understand that, I enjoy playing a lot Modern Warfare 2 online, which is more a hybrid FPS (first person shooter) /RPG (role playing game) and the RPG aspects (levels, titles, ranks, kill / death ratio) just makes me come back for more.

TERA online looks nice but I hope the subscription fees are reasonable. How much do you think they'll be ?

I agree too, hey we should all design a game lol, we know what would work and what wouldn't!

thegamemaker can lead the project as he's awesome at UDK. How about it guys ? What shall we call it ?

Yeah that's my point lol, he must be on it like 12 hours a day.
I don't find it weird that a lot of people play WoW, not at all, it's just another game to me and lots of people love games. The only bit I find weird/pointless are the addicts who sit there their whole life and just waste it away playing games like WoW. It's really up to them how they want to spend their life though so idrc.
I feel really bad for a lot of the guys who are addicted to WoW though, well from the people I've met at least, they're like pretty anti-social and I imagine it's just an escape for them. When I was depressed the internet was my escape, games is just theirs I guess.
