Programming is something that I enjoy and want to make a career out of. But, I usually tend to start things and not finish them. Any advice on how I can finish what I start?

If you wanted it bad enough you wouldn't give up on them.

If you feel responsible - promise to anybody to finish it (make a website or whatever). Or vice versa, don't plan to finish it - just enjoy what you do, it works sometimes with me.

Should I be practicing programming every day? I feel if I don't, I'll get instantly rusty or something.

Repetition is the key to insanity. You'll need a refresher, "but once you know how to ride a bicycle..."

Also, when I code for a few days in a row, my mind feels obliterated and all of the space in my mind, feels like it contains code.
