c# MediaElement stop

03 September 2012 - 05:54 AM

Hi i am trying to stop the MediaElement that plays on the background . I want to create one button that on click will stop all mediaelements on the program. I can stop the MediaElement on the page of the code but i cant stop on the others page's .
I am using Windows 8 visual studio 2012 c# metro style app

My MediaElement code :
<MediaElement Name="myMediaElement" IsLooping="true" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Height="30" Margin="330,181,0,0" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="120" AudioCategory="BackgroundCapableMedia" AutoPlay="True" Source="Assets/Song/musica.mp3"  >"
To stop it on that page:
private void Button_Click_5(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
	    {
		    myMediaElement.Stop();
	    }
But the MediaElement on the Page "A" is still playing only on Page "B" the music is stop. (Page "B" is where i got the button)
Help here pls
