In Topic: Tabcontrol

12 June 2012 - 09:45 PM

Hi,

You can add two tabcontrol component, with the same size and location
set the first tabcontrol alignment property to left
add function on selecting event (for each tabcontrol), to bring front the control when they being selecting: Ex : tabcontrol1.BringToFront();

to add the icon on tab:
Drop an ImageList on the form and fill it with your icons.
Set the TabControl.ImageList property.
For each tab page, set the ImageIndex property

In Topic: Adding / Removing Startup Parameters

12 June 2012 - 09:17 PM

Hi Thryckz,

logicPwn is right, you should learn to use the Process class, it basically calling the external program(outside your project and adding the additional parameter on your code/program)

example
		Process myProcess = new Process();
		try
		{
			myProcess.StartInfo.FileName = "gameToRun.exe";
			//Do not receive an event when the process exits.
			myProcess.EnableRaisingEvents = false;
			// Parameters
			myProcess.StartInfo.Arguments = "/highresolution true /LevelStart 100";
			// Modify the following to hide / show the window
			myProcess.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = false;
			myProcess.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = true;
			myProcess.StartInfo.WindowStyle = ProcessWindowStyle.Maximized;

			//Specify allocated memory
			myProcess.MaxWorkingSet = new IntPtr(2048);
			myProcess.MinWorkingSet = new IntPtr(2048);
			myProcess.Start();
		}
		catch (Exception e)
		{
			// Handle error here
		}

but please aware, that the parameter should already exist in the external program
