I read through the thread and found the part about using InputStream.reset(). It wasn't supported in the code I was using, but thankfully, I knew exactly how many bytes was in each of the packets. This cleared the buffer successfully, and it now works. THANKS

3. I don't want assembly code in the compiler. I want to translate the custom programming language source code, INTO assembly, which then will be compiled to an executable. I don't want to execute inline assembly. I believe I know the difference.
