foreign keys? not sure i understand. but if you want to get all the "child" keys..you can use "IN" or "EXISTS" in your SQL.

you can also use MINUS.

SQL Server can generate XML.

SQL Server also has a way to search text field similar to Oracle Intermedia text.

you basically want to have multiple rows per language instead of multiple columns.

get a Book or read some of the online tutorials on mysql/sql.

get SQLYog to help you administer/code.

mysql (.) org is a great start.
