1. Go to the run command and enter "gpedit.msc" without quote.
2. You will see this.
3. Go to Computer Configuration.
4. Go to Administrative Templates
5. Go to network.
6. Go to QoS Packet Sheduler.
7. Double click on Limit reservable bandwidth.
8. Change Not Enabled to Enable and you can see 20% in there.
Just change it to 0% and apply and you are done.
** 100% Made by me all the writting and screenshot. Not distributable. **
Done !
thanks for sharing and still not experiencing any difference but maybe it can work as I read what we are making to 0%.
I am assuming that this is for "Microsoft Windows XP Professional" only because I cannot open up gpedit.msc from the run command thing...
I can't understand how this will make my internet faster! Anybody tried this and saw some improvement?
only 20% but it will be 16% and it won't make much difference enough for us to notice I think. But anyway it has no problem and nothing wrong happened by it for me.
And what about softwares that say they improve the speed.
I am going to try this little bit later Thanks for the tip..How does this work with broadband?
but but if i change it.. does my ISP will see it to? and is it illegal?
My computer does not have gpedit.msc ...must be older version..what do you do if you dont have that on your computer?
You can visit SpeedGuide.net :: TCP Optimizer / Downloads to download the TCP Optimizer which will optimize settings on your computer. It really does make a difference!
