Hello Everyone!
First of all, this is my first tutorial (or how you want to call it), So if there is anything you think that I can do better in my next tutorials or change something in this one please let me know!
I read this tutorial a couple of weeks ago when I got it from a friend.
Well this tutorial is for the firefox users among us!
This way your firefox shortcut will start up faster.
1: Go to the shortcut of your firefox
2: right mouse click on the shortcut and go to Properties
3: than go to the first editable sentence called target
4: type behind the whole sentence the following: /Prefetch:1
5: so than you'll get this:
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" /Prefetch:1
6: than click apply or ok and you're done!
The following tweaks will only work for broadband users!
with these tweaks your firefox browser will send more requests to the website and this will shorten the waiting time for websites to load in your browser.
1: Type into the url bar (where you normally type your http://www.address) about:config.
2: you will than get a warranty about being careful, and as you know you will be because I'm here to help you out.
3: when you're in the config you can see a kind of search bar it's the bar beneath your url bar, you can see the bar on the 'website' itself.
4: if you see that do the following type into the following words in that search bar and you'll find them, than change the values from false to true by double clicking on it.
This is what you have to change to true:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
(if you don't get a hit it''s because you got empty space at the end of your word).
5: If you did that there is a value you have to change next. Search for network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and right click on it. than say change and change the value into 25.
6: You're almost done! Hold on!
click with your right mouse on the empty space on the 'site' than go to new and choose integer.
7: give it the name: nglayout.initialpaint.delay
and the value should be: 0
8: you're done! now close your browser and restart it and see the difference!
