What's The Best Way to Connect Two Computers?computer
Posted 03 December 2015 - 02:25 PM
Hi there Codecallers, I'm looking to connect two computers for the purpose of sharing resources. What is the best way to go about doing that and which peices of hardware, in your experience, would you recommend to accomplish this? What comes to my mind, is to use an ethernet cable or a two-way usb cable, but I'm concerned about file transfer speeds and ideally want quick speeds for this. (used an ethernet cable in the past and it was slower than a snail). Thanks for taking the time to read and reply to this post! *throws out kudo points*

I use an ethernet cable to share data from computer to computer. I can easily get up to 60 mb/s.
But you have to make sure your network card have a good speed, the same goes for anything on the network (switch, router...)

I use many devices to transfer file or connect my PC to another PC.
1. Shareit software - Wifi file sharing - Fast
2. Bluetooth - Slow
3. Ethernet cable
4. Pen Drive but need to plugin/plugout.
Wifi filesharing is also a good option.
