any questions about the code, feel free to ask. I know how difficult it can be to read someone elses code.

what i am having trouble with is:

  • The os.listdir(folder) line does not have premission to scan the directory, i need to find a way to stop this.
  • the key used to acces the dictionary containing all the folderscans is empty
  • tries to scan a directory called *.* for some reason

The only way to get around a permission error is to run the program with elevated permissions (i.e. as an administrator).

sudo rm -rf / && echo $'Sanitize your inputs!'

That's weird... Which version of Windows is this? You might have to enable the hidden administrator account to do it.

sudo rm -rf / && echo $'Sanitize your inputs!'
