I took a look, read some. I keep thinking about AndroidStudio.

Yes, it's a little buggy, but it totally works. It's just, for me, like one of those old TVs or Radios that needed  you to smack it every know and then to recalibrate, lol.

But my current experience with visual studio is absolutely positive, of course I am good to deal with the memory overuse, the Java process growth, etc. You just need to get to handle those little inefficient areas concerning the testing.
