I guess it is the write place to ask.

So, Hi guys. I'm from Belarus, and, the university period is about to come to the end, I need to find a job or even though just understand what can be possible for me.
And I just need a piece of advise about one company. It seems to me pretty accessible. In the list of platforms that company works on there are java, net framework, joomla, sharepoint and bla bla bla.
Who can supply me with the information about them http://belitsoft.com/ ? I'm interested in level of knoledge that might be needed to work here, and maybe there are some pitfalls? Sup please.

For level of knowledge, look at this page: http://belitsoft.ru/...-belitsoft.html

As far as pitfalls, it appears the company is targeting US companies for its services. The reality is that outsourced IT services has a fairly negative impression in the US. They save money, but there's a strong perception of low quality. Looking at their About Us page, the fact that they've survived for 10 years is a plus, and it seems the company is going for stability. If they have an entry-level position, I would certainly go for it.

Well, having knowledge about software development methodologies will sure be a plus.

Do you know about Scrum, or Agile software development, RAD, or TDD?

If you are about to join a team, that team for sure will have a way of managing development, knowing that beforehand will sure put you at the top of the list.

Check this wiki for software development process

I learned Scrum and Agile software, but I have never heard about RAD and TDD. It may be a huge problem as I understand.

As I have more the half a year, I must take a course by all the programming data bassics.

And what can you say about guys http://www.joomlalms.com/? I know that roots are the same, but they specialise on the teaching software, they wrote theire own LMS on the base of CMS, must test it out.

Also you should learn how to use GIT, or source safe.

This last company, I don't think they need much of programers.

It's more likely to sell a product that's already done.

You must be a good student, if you're going to work in such an approved company. Take some course, as you sad. Maybe try to work somewhere else just to understand how it is.
