Hello,

Just in case that you have the forum on your bookmarks, if you go directly to the codecall website, you get a error: Error establishing a database connection

This may prevent people to access the forum part of codecall.

iceweasel (fork of firefox) on debian...

But this is a sql error connection, I highly doubt my browser has anything to do with this.

You can access www.codecall.net?

I always go straight to forum.codecall.net. You're correct that www.codecall.net is down.

Roger has had a blog that was integrated from another site if you recall on the root domain, with popular articles regarding programming resources, I assume that has broken somewhere down the line.

"Last Active Yesterday, 05:14 PM" (PST) so perhaps he knows of the issue, and is changing the root page again to something else.

Alexander.

All new problems require investigation, and so if errors are problems, try to learn as much as you can and report back.

Back in Sept, I integrated some articles from another blog into http://codecall.net. That site is now sending traffic to forum.codecall.net. In the process, I must've broken the www.codecall.net CNAME, so I just reset it to point to forum.codecall.net.

Sorry about the inconvenience. Teaches me to try to do 10 things at the same time all the time! :)

I have been trying to resolve the issue for the last hour. For some reason, I can't seem to redirect the http://www.codecall.net/ to http://codecall.net/ via cPanel, DNS or in WordPress. More interesting is that the error page I'm seeing (DB error) is a WP cache page, which I have purged repeatedly. Something else must be going on. Let me look further. There is a chance I'll merge the WP content into the IP.board blog/content module, so that problem might go away anyways.

Thanks for the update!
