Which operating System?

Could be permissions, path, case sensitive trouble in the includes. We need a little more info to get the guessing going.

My IDE used to save in the application directory where it knew it was (i.e. Geany wrote to C:\Program Files\Geany\untitled.cpp) and that requires administrative access. If the IDE saves and fails to save this file, its next step (the linker et. al.) will fail to find the file and it will fail with such an error.

Try saving your document in a director writable by your user such as in your document directory as a start.

Alexander.

All new problems require investigation, and so if errors are problems, try to learn as much as you can and report back.

What exactly are you doing when you get the error message? Is it when you try to save a file, compile a file, launch the IDE, something else?
