Another thought, I've seen some old DSL Modem/routers that don't have wifi. When you connect in a wifi router on top of that, you can have some interesting behaviors arise, where you normally see one router and configuration, but the Modem/Router has additional settings that weren't accounted for. It's amazing how messy these things can actually get.

I updated router's firmware but still no luck.

It doesn't sound like an OS problem to me...still kinda leaning towards the router or ISP security policy.
