Bad news, it's not that easy. It's been years since I did this, so I will tell you what I remember.
Proxy configuration is on Internet explorer properties, you need to change that from your program (and it will change for every other navigation in your computer not only your program) and then reset the Internet explorer. It's doable, it works, but it's neither easy nor elegant.
