Just some observations (no I'm not interested):

1) You are throwing around a LOT of buzzwords/technologies, many of which would not normally be mixed. This is a red flag.

2) You do not indicate if relocation is needed or, if not, how team communication will be handled.

3) As Kadence mentioned, developers need to eat, and for that they need money. A clearer indication of compensation would be helpful.

4) You HAVE thought this out better than some people I've seen, which gives you some credibility in my eyes. It's a refreshing change :D

@Kadence, sorry I'm new to the forum and unsure of your best practise's so please forgive me for that. Anyone can PM me here but any deals will be done with interested parties in private as I'm sure you can appreciate.

@WingedPanther, in answer to your points...

1) I'm no coder I specialise in the industry the product is aimed at, we have put the 'buzzwords/technologies' out there after researching what we believe is need to make the product come to life... as we said we are looking for the someone here to 'Providing guidance on the types of technology and architecture'.

2) Relocation will not be required at least for some time no. The majority of the team are here in the UK but I'm sure with today's technology we will converse and collaborate just fine.

3) Answered

4) Thanks we really believe in our vision and look forward to working with some top developers here!

Well now...this is interesting.

I actually wrote and posted this advert on oDesk and PeoplePerHour about a week ago, so imagine my surprise when a friend pointed me in the direction of this post and I find my advert has been used almost word for word... except I didn't post it here.

@ewens if you can't even write your own adverts then it doesn't bode well for your startup. Hopefully your idea and the product that you are developing have not been copied in the same manner in which you have plagiarised my advert.

Looking around the interwebs I see that you've posted my advert elsewhere. Please take it down. I put up the advert to attract great people for my team, not to attract great people for you. A little bit of originality is a good thing.

@kadence we are paying up to £40 per hour and are seeking a resource based in the UK if possible, otherwise Western Europe is our next preference. Let me know if you are interested and i'll ping across the requirements and a bit more info on what are seeking to achieve. Cheers.

@WingedPanther you are correct, we did throw a few buzzwords into the advert. We wanted to cast a wide net as the idea is to find a competent all rounder who can work with us to investigate a few different solutions, agree a preferred solution, and then kick start the build journey with a PoC. Any feedback or recommendations are appreciated!
