I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it is to do with mobile development I guess.

I have a problem getting hyper v for windows development. I've looked around trying to enable various options in my UEFI but to little success. Also when I try to turn it on in the windows control panel, there is no option for it at all!

I also performed a coreinfo.exe -v test to see if I have hyper v present, and I do! I have a windows 8 computer.. I have seen suggestions of needing a windows pro version or something, but is this free or do I have to pay?

I would REALLY appreciate ANY help.

Thanks code call community!

Yes you need Windows 8 Pro.  If you just have a computer with an OEM(installed when you bought it) version of Windows you probably have the Home version or whatever its called now.  You will need to buy an upgrade to get Pro.  I personally would just use VirtualBox or VMWare if you can.
