I need my app to connect to the internet using SOCK V4 or SOCK V5 among other options. How do I make my app to create a connection via sock v4 or v5. Also I need the emulator to use SOCK V4 or  SOCK V5 instead of using http-proxy. Is there any command-line option for using sock v4 or v5?

Size does matter for science and its laws changes accordingly.

I know is that you can configure the emulator to use proxy, droid proxy is the name of the app if I'm not mistaken.

About programing with sockets, here you have a tutorial
