I recently saw a post by javacrooks where it him having liked himself. I remmeber that I had liked the post, but there is only one name. How does this happen? I'm attaching a cutout of the screenshot with the error highlighted.

Interesting. Are you sure you "Like This" already? Try it again to see if it catches.

 

As for self-like, I'm not sure if it's because I "edited" it, so he was able to like the post after the edit.

 

For a test, can you see "Like This" on the topic you started? If not, I can edit your topic and see if you can like the changes.

No, I don't see any like button by default. Also, that thread is pretty old. I've seen it display this only the last 2 times I visited it. Also you edited my post on the same thread too, but it does not show a like button.

Hm. Weird. Maybe it was left over from a while back when we allowed +/-rep on posts. For a while, people were able to give themselves +reps. It might just be legacy stuff.
