Hi Experts,
I am very new in asp.net. But i know little bit of PHP (learned long back)..
I was using WAMP to create webpage for php.without internet connection.
It was very helpful as i dont have an internet connection at my home.
I make the page check it on my pc and then upload the codes to remote (server).
My question is, is there any way to develop my wabpage on an standalone machine without internet connection in asp.net.
If Yes please tell me the method.
Thank You
Arjun

Hi, welcome.
There are a few options.
You can install IIS in Windows and then run your ASP.net applications locally. If you let me know what version of Windows you're running I can send a link for set-up.
If you use Visual Studio it has built in functionality to run ASP.net applications.
There are also third party alternatives to IIS which I haven't personally used but I'm sure some of the other guys will post details.

There are two ways to write error-free programs; only the third one works.

It's just like Barnsite said, don't we afraid, most of had to code a website without internet once in our life
