Well first off lets drill out some details. Where are you saving the user data? Best place is a database, but you can use a local server file.

A login form is an essential form of a website.Using Joomla you can create a powerful login form.There are several resources using or referring to which you can create a login form.


Joomla has built in scripts to do a lot of stuff. I don't recommend settling with Joomla after setting your mind to make it from scratch... with help!

I figured if i'm writing a reply it might as well be actually useful to the OP so here is another guide for creating a login script using PHP and MySQL and of course HTML.
