User input perl script

I need to write a perl script that askes a user to input a username to create a user account on the system. Then create that user account and ask for the user to assign a password to that user account. I really have no idea how to get this done can someone please help.....

I think you need to write your own PARSER if you're using Perl. Probably search for "Perl Parser User Input" on google. Perl doesn't comes with the parser like PHP. It has been a while since I do anything with Perl.
