Thanks Black Rabbit. I will look at that. I thought there was another way, but I guess not, maybe I am thinking of you don't worry about it if you don't use @ in front of the string, but then you have to escape all the special characters you need?

Truth be told, the bulk load has its own way to deal with all the possible nuissances a csv file can bring to the table,
from newline type to nulls and of course error management, you can tell the bulk load what to do in case of row error, you can send those rows to a different file and keep working.

in my personal case i prefer to handle it myself with a library, i feel comfortable having my code in total control of the situation :D
