I am 13 and I am new to this whole programing thing. I figured that I should start with python because it it simple, I think.
So, I was wondering 2 things.
1. Is python a good starting program
2. what type of program should I first write
thanks a bunch,
dezhu

Python I consider is a language that introduces you to programming, like, a step up language.I am 13 and I am new to this whole programing thing. I figured that I should start with python because it it simple, I think.

welcome to the forum! It's great that you're getting into programming so early
My advice is not to worry to much about which language to pick - if you chose Python, great, good choice, go start learning it
Once you know one language it's a lot easier to apply that understanding to others, so even if you later decide you want to program in another language, your Python knowledge isn't wasted.
We have several beginner Python tutorials right here on Codecall you can take a look at to help you get started!
be sure to let us know how you get on

To add on to that, 13 is a very good age to begin programming, Learning Python would be a good idea for people around the middle school/Jr. High level. It's great that you're getting into programming so early
