Windows 7 won't boot

xp sp3 windows boot problem

Hi codecall community, I hope you all doing well!!
I'm facing a problem when installing win 7, instead of xp sp3, the clue is in the boot, it simply dosn't boot, after choosing dvd boot, it shows the message: "press any key...", when I click, the pc reboots!!,
I hope to hearing from you soon...

Usually my first responses for this problem are:

  • Have you check the DVD? Are you sure it's not broken and clean from malware?
  • Check your CPU fan or whether the airflow was blocked. Overheated CPU could lead into repeated restarts.

After you have checked the above and found no problem, you might want to check your RAM.

OK, I installed XP SP3 for the moment, I know it's out of date, and is not the best solution, but I will try to switch to Windows 7, and I will try to look to CPU tempreture and I will check RAM with a bootable disk,

I have many XP virtual machines. Use them mainly for testing my codes. Although sometimes I use it to run suspicious executables.

So in XP your computer does not reset repeatedly?
