So I came across this display problem when I was opening a small program I coded in python . It shows the parentheses and the quotation marks and then in the code " print " turns yellow after i`ve opened the program . here is my code:

#Greeter
#Demonstrates the use of a variable

name = "Lawton"

print(name)

print("Hi,", name)

input("\n\nPress the enter key to exit.")

Then after I`ve launched the program and came back to edit it in IDLE to see if i could fix the problem , no clue what that means .

#Greeter
#Demonstrates the use of a variable

name = "Lawton"

print(name)

print("Hi,", name)

input("\n\nPress the enter key to exit.")

This is IDE specific, maybe IDLE is set it shows prints in different colour if they have additional arguments.
