Hello everyone,

i have created my first tool, it's a Password + MD5 Generator.

Here's a screenshot:

Posted Image

What it does? it creates a Random Password, then hash it into MD5

i have two problems:

[SOLVED]1st: how i can make the hash apear without the dashes between each two nubmers.
2nd: how i can make it clear from virus scan(has no viruses on it).

And if you saw any bugs report me.

Download

And thanks for this forum, i have learned alot from it^^

All Regards,

MuStA.

Seems to be a great tool. I don't know of 2), but it might be considered to be a hack tool, or you actually have something malicious in it, like a troyan.
but about 1) I think I need to see how you generate the code to be able to answer, can you post your code snippet?

I'm a System developer at XLENT Consultant Group mainly working with SugarCRM.
Please DO NOT send mail or PM to me with programming questions, post them in the appropriate forum instead, where I and others can answer you.

About 1) If your Md5 string variable name is 'md5' and your ui Label/TextBox variable is 'uiMd5', you can do as follows
uiMd5.Text = md5.Replace("-", "");

I just changed the last line of your 'button2_Click' event handler as follows
textBox3.Text = BitConverter.ToString(md5.ComputeHash(UTF8.GetBytes(textBox2.Text))).Replace("-","");
and I found it worked!
