So, I am having difficulties deciding what type of tree to use for my n-gram class!

I understand what an n-gram is, why it is used, what it is used for, and all that; however, i am not quite sure on the specifics to implementing the thoery behind "n-gram" i.e. what tree to use, how to use it, how to use the frequencies i am generating from the parsing of the input text.

I need some helpd eciding which tree to implement and other data structures that possibly should accompany the tree... i know in the write up an example was given using the stl list, vector, map, and then a user defined tree of "yout" choice.

if someone could help me i would greatly appreciate it!
