I don't have enough information to tell you if it's your code or something else that's causing the error.

Please post your most recent updated code (both the HTML and the PHP). Also, please post your code between the CODE tags (it's the # button on the editor toolbar) so your code will be more readable.

I had this same problem yesterday, and I'm too am a novice to this php thing. But my problem was that I was not addressing it from my localhost / or the server. So try using XAMPP and place the file in your C:\xampp\htdocs\ and test the script in your web browser with LocalHost/<file>.html .


I hope it isn't too late.
