hey,
feel a bit of a fraud here as i am a little clueless about programming. my better half is however an expert programmer and i'm wanting to knit him a jumper where the back is covered in some memorable thing written in the first programming language he ever learned.
he's a visual basic programmer at the moment and told me that he used basic when he was learning, which would've been in the late 80s.
i'd like to write the code for something simple like a pop-up box that says "do you love me?" and then has a yes option and a no option. i believe that this is a very short piece of code, so a little help with the format would be great and then i could input text for multiple text boxes on the back.
can anybody help with this? i'd be very appreciative :)

Basic was before the days of graphical interfaces. You can see some examples here: Wang BASIC vs. Microsoft BASIC
