Is Haskell an assembly language. Looked it up and it's a compiler language. Isn't that some sort of assembly or is it the other way around.

Haskell is a functional language, much like lisp.
My favorite depends a LOT on what I'm doing at the time. Delphi/Lazarus, ColdFusion, PHP, C++, and a few others are often useful. I find myself using VBScript on a regular basis, even though I don't like it.
