Hi, I have an idea that I would like to create that revolves around the exact format of Aaron Karo presents Ruminations.com. Can you guys point me in the direction of what I need to learn to build a site like Ruminations.com. For example, basic member system using php mysql is one the comes right into my head.
What about kind of programming is used for ruminations.com? specifics please..

It's done in php, but any web language can make a site like that.
