Error when i installe matlab 6.5

Hi,
could someone please help me to avoid this message of error when i was installed Matlab 6.5 into my PC.

the message of error is "there is not enough space on the C: drive to complete the installation . the installer needs about 7MB of space for temporary files.you need to fre some space on the drive or change your TMP environment variable to point to a driver that has more space "
