Hello guys,
I have the following issue: I have been learning JS for a very long time and I know the following things:
1. Functions
2. Loops
3.Arrays
4. Logical operators and conditional statements
5.How to create objects
6. How to work with the DOM and all about the predefined JS properties and methods, although I haven't memorized all of them like a zombie
7. I have do image rollovers, image galleries, countdown timers and display the date and time and so on.
So my question is, for how long should I continue to study it, it there something I have missed, and I can see there are some super advanced technices out there, but should I study them all first before I can call myself a JS programmer, or the knowledge I have accumulated so far is enough and I should go to the next language?
Please help me!
Best Regards
Stefany

You study it until you can do the things you want to do, then move on to a server-side language to work on that half.
I spent several years studying C++ almost exclusively, but have done almost nothing practical with it. By contrast, I've spent very little time studying VBScript, ColdFusion, ADO, JavaScript, or HTML, yet those are the languages I make a living with. When you can do what you're trying to do, you know enough. You drop into "study mode" when you need to figure out something new.
