Hello, I'm Jeremy. I'm at college studying CIT. Just started a new semester. Taking a course that's expanding on Java from the previous semester, also taking an assembly language course, and an introduction to unix and linux course. I'm pretty familiar with different kinds of programming languages, but other than that, I am quite the newb. I'm really interested in what this unix/linux course is going to offer. Right now our professor had us load an old version of vmworkstation running minix. I'd like to learn more from experienced people about what I can expect with this course.

I also forgot to mention that I'm taking a course in web programming. Instructor gave us a link to install the latest version of Microsoft Expression. I downloaded the package and was presented with a bunch of different types of ME, which ones do you think I'll be needing the most.

Thanks!

Welcome to codecall, Jeremy!
Perfection of means and confusion of ends seem to characterize our age. Albert Einstein
