hi guys my problem goes like this i know php but maybe 50% maybe less than i know little bit of c language and a little bit in java too in C# and vb.net as well so which programming language should i improve my skills ? and should i move to linux or stay in windows 7 x64 ?thx for helping me

You should improve your skills in as many as you can, especially those you use most often or those that pays the bills(if you program for a living). A good programmer generally has a firm grasp on a handfull of languages which makes it easy to adapt to any programming environment.

maybe i will go with python and than move to C i red that python gives quit good skills for other languages such as C

But when you moved to C later or whatever language you move to remember to go back to python once in a while so you don't forget it.

i dont think its possible to forget a programming language once you learned it

It is possible, Lets say you stop using python for 1 year, Then when you come back to it you might mix up the syntax rules for example.
I do not mean literaly forget the language.
